Riham Ayoub, MPH

Research Assistant and KCI Office of DEI Coordinator. Joining KCI in February 2024, Riham previously served as a Public Health Supervisor at the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS), which is the largest Arab American nonprofit in the country. Examples of her experience include managing the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) and Self-Monitoring Blood Pressure Program (SMBP), working to increase Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) uptake in the Arab American community, and conducting qualitative research on COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. Riham received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Health Studies from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2017. She then went on to pursue a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion & Behavioral Sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2019. Her master's capstone project was a grant proposal on utilizing an evidence-based workshop held at Wayne State University to improve patient-centered communication among physicians in Detroit to improve blood pressure medication adherence among Black patients.
